CONSERVATION BREW #3

Conservation Brew #3 | Farmhouse Ale 4.3% for The Wilder Institute.

Refreshing Farmhouse Ales like this one are all about quenching thirst—perfect to sip in solidarity and support of everything the Wilder Institute and their partners are doing to support the Endangered greater sage-grouse. Thanks to their conservation breeding and release program, the first juvenile greater sage-grouse from the breeding program were released into the wild in 2018.

In support of the Wilder Institute's efforts, we brewed a refreshing beer with very subtle hop notes and a modest alcohol content. The dry and slightly funky profile is achieved through fermentation with French saison yeast. Conservation Brew #3 is now available in the Annex Taproom and across Alberta this week.

Cheers to more grouse hatches and releases!

Ryan is a professional artist and muralist living in Alberta. Although he was brought up in a non-Indigenous community, he has since reconnected with his Blackfoot roots (Siksika Nation). Ryan's inspiration is the Indigenous way of life and the species that live in the natural territory of the Blackfoot people. His art also represents the healing and struggles he has faced in his life. Through his art he hopes to help people on the path of unconditional love for themselves as well as find love for nature and all its occupants.

The Greater Sage Grouse is Ryan's third can in our four-part series with The Wilder Institute.
